It should take you between three and five months to complete this Specialization. You will be assigned approximately one hours worth of work to complete every week for the thirteen weeks it takes to complete the four courses.
Prerequisite certification is not required before taking this course. Successful Azure Data Fundamentals students start with some basic awareness of computing and Internet concepts, and an interest in extracting insights from data. Specifically:
Experience using a web browser, such as Microsoft Edge. Familiarity with basic data-related concepts, such as working with tables of data in a spreadsheet and visualizing data using charts. A willingness to learn through hands-on exploration.
Yes. We highly recommend taking the courses of each certificate program in the order they are presented. The content in the first four courses builds on information from earlier courses. The final course, Preparing for the Microsoft Azure Data Fundamentals Exam, contains practice exams that assess your knowledge of the content covered in the previous three courses. It makes the most sense to take them in the order they come in.
